Now is the time for skin lotion and hair dressing, which leave a residue that can be washed off after rubbing soap or powdered soap on the sink.

Skin lotion. Recommended: aloe vera gel or Jergen's Lotion. If skin is itchy from irritation, use Campho-Phenique Liquid, which seems to be oily but disappears when applied to the face.

Hair dressing. Recommended: Alberto VO5 Conditioning Hairdressing (in a tube), which adds shine to the hair. Also useful: an aerosol hair spray, which can be sprayed onto your hairbrush while you hold it in the sink. Use a hairbrush with wire bristles tipped in plastic.
