Caring for the Ears

To prevent itchiness in the ears, each time that you shower wash ears thoroughly and rinse in the oncoming water. After showering, dry thoroughly with a towel. If necessary, use a cotton swab to dry the ear canal. If itchy ears are still a problem, keep a small bottle of white vinegar (available at a supermarket) and some cotton swabs in your bathroom cabinet.

Dip a cotton swab into the vinegar, squeeze out the excess on the rim of the bottle, and rub the cotton swab inside each ear.

Only go as deep into the ear as the length of the cotton tip, since the ear canal is sensitive and can be damaged. Other, similar options: liquid (or not) Campho-Phenique and Cortaid.
