USING THE TOILET.

WASHING HANDS. Hand washing is the single best way to avoid contagion.
One researcher estimates that people who wash their hands upon entering the house have 50% fewer colds.
Use a nail brush regularly. Keep one nail brush at your bathroom sink and another in the shower stall.
Keep the fingernails clipped. Keep a pair of fingernail scissors and a nail file at your desk and another set in your bathroom cabinet.
When opening doors out in public, use your knuckles to turn handles, if possible, so that your finger tips and fingernails are not contaminated.
WORKING IN THE KITCHEN

DUSTING. A paper towel wet with water and wrung out thoroughly works well.
TIME FOR BEDClick here to see some other (not generally known) daily health habits:
Study at Johns Hopkins showed that people sleep better on a water pillow. It balances the head, thereby stopping the neck muscles from working to keep the head on the pillow. Recommended: Mediflow Waterbase Pillow. Note: in using the pillow, don't put stress on the plastic ring through which the water is poured. It can separate from the surrounding fabric, causing a leak. When lifting the pillow, support the plastic ring with your hand.
