To occupy the mind, a saying has to be repeated many times
in sequence. A saying is useful only when appropriate.
Withdraw. Withdraw. Withdraw. (as if putting down your fists)
My life has been ruled by four words: "I am not ok." Actually, I am ok. I am one of Nature's creations.
My life has been ruled by four words: "I am not equal." Actually, I am equal. I am one of Nature's creations.
Everything is inevitable. This recognition, which we call forgiveness, is the heart of spirituality.
Life's greatest word: equal. Not only are others equal to me, but I am equal to them, as well.
I choose life, not the having lived. I am alive to the continuous newness of existence.
The more significant one's present is, the less significant one's past becomes.
Who am I? I am a living organism functioning in the present. I see, I hear, I smell, I taste, I feel. At the same time, I am continuously self-directing.
A person is not a unity. We are composed of many parts.
I do what is called for by circumstances. I let my mind provide insights. I am alive.
I don't know what to do next, but my body knows. My body is a genius.
I am awake . . . here . . . now . . . I float in the current of the present.
Leaving the facts behind, leaving the facts behind, leaving the facts behind . . .
My mind is absolutely private.
My life is only my own, not anyone else's.
All I can take is what I get. I do the best with what I've got. What have I got? Only what is, here, now.
I am in Nature/life, not apart from it. Self-importance is an illusion. Everything was (and is and will be) inevitable.
Whether I was right, justified, and innocent, on the one hand, or wrong, not justified, and guilty, on the other hand, it doesn't matter. The facts remain.
I am totally created by Nature/life. I want my egotism (self-importance/experiencing myself subjectively) to collapse. I want to experience myself objectively.
I didn't create that [thought, feeling].
What happens is Nature's way. Everything that a person does is natural. If it weren't natural, it wouldn't exist. We cannot overrule the processes of Nature/life. Everything was, is, and will be inevitable, in accordance with the ways of Nature. Einstein's, or anyone else's, insights are all the workings of Nature/life.
All thoughts and feelings arise from a pool of originations in the mind.
Truth is the offspring of silence and unbroken meditation. (Isaac Newton)
That thought/feeling/mood has emerged into consciousness.
Please, go back, all of you (global rejection of all harassing thoughts).
That thought is unfriendly. I need a friendly, kind, supportive subconscious.
I might wish that it weren't so, but it is. I acknowledge reality. I don't deny it. It is in Nature.
I might wish that it were so, but it isn't. I acknowledge reality. I don't deny it. It is in Nature.
That is just a thought.
You are worrying/agonizing/suffering. Thinking can't change reality.
You are repeating yourself.
You are feeling terror, horror, pain, a breach, you are feeling terror, horror, pain, a breach, you are feeling terror . . .
You are suffering a wave of bad feeling.
You are feeling unwanted, you are feeling unwanted, you are feeling unwanted, . . . (disliked, isolated, lonely)
You are feeling sexual attraction, you are feeling sexual attraction, you are feeling sexual attraction, . . . (when bothered by intrusive sexual interest)
You have to take charge of imposing your own philosophy on yourself, of untroubling yourself (relaxing your mind).
